Vote for The State's Midlands high school football Player of the Week: Nov. 4 poll

It's time to vote for The State's high school football Player of the Week from Midlands-area schools.

Voting in the poll ends Friday at noon, and the winner will be announced on Lou Bezjak's Twitter/X page.

Below are the nominees. You can vote as many times as you would like.

This Week's Nominees

Heyward Belsar, LB, Heathwood Hall: Freshman had 16 tackles (two for loss) in a loss to Northwood.

AJ Brand, QB, Irmo: Senior and Virginia Tech commitment was 18 of 26 passing for 196 yards and five touchdowns, carried it 11 times for 263 yards and three touchdowns, and caught a 42-yard pass in a win over River Bluff.

Sam Burks, RB, Northside Christian: Senior carried it 15 times for 193 yards, three touchdowns and also had a 52-yard punt return for a score in a win over Camden Military.

Kenton Caldwell, QB, Newberry: Junior was 10 of 11 passing for 297 yards and three touchdown passes (all in the first half) in the win over Swansea.

Jack Croft, WR, Hammond: Senior had six catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Cardinal Newman.

Caleb Ford, RB, Cardinal Newman: Senior carried it 31 times for 255 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Hammond.

Stone Furrey, WR, Chapin: Junior had nine catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Irmo.

Ty Grier, RB, Fairfield Central: Senior carried it eight times for 156 yards and four touchdowns in the win over Columbia.

Khristian Jackson, WR, Ridge View: Sophomore had 65 yards receiving, two touchdowns and returned a punt for a score in a win over Blythewood.

Jamie Johns, RB, Pelion: Junior back-up running back filled for injured starter and carried it 34 times for 244 yards and a TD in a win over American Leadership.

BJ Montgomery, RB, Gray Collegiate: Senior carried it 14 times for 134 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Gilbert.

Ethan Offing, QB, Dutch Fork: Junior Clemson baseball commitment was 21 of 27 passing for 417 yards and four touchdowns and also rushed for 15 yards in a win over River Bluff.

Wyatt Thompson, QB/WR/DB, Camden: Senior was 6 of 8 passing for 120 yards, three touchdowns, carried it 11 times for 83 yards amd a TD, caught five passes for 30 yards and had five tackles, a sack in the win over AC Flora.

Amadre Wooden, RB, Batesburg-Leesville: Junior carried it 31 times for 175 yards, two touchdowns and also caught a pass for 31 yards in a win over Saluda.
