The Kern County Coroner's Office identified the body of a man who was found dead on Niles Street Nov. 20.

Javin Malachi Jones, 22, was found dead in the 2200 block of Niles Street at around 10:13 a.m. Nov. 20. According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, the coroner's office will conduct a postmortem forensic examination to determine the cause and manner of his death.
