Perez (personal) is listed as the Padres' probable starting pitcher for Sunday's game against the Giants in San Francisco.

Perez has missed the Padres' last two games after being placed on the paternity list Wednesday, and while he could remain away from the team for Saturday's contest as well, he looks poised to rejoin the club for the series finale at Oracle Park. Since coming over in a deal with the Pirates at the trade deadline, Perez has turned in a 2.84 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 33:11 K:BB in 38 innings over his seven outings with San Diego.
