LSU's Flau'jae Johnson is off to a strong start. Have a look at her impressive numbers.

In the last 22 seasons, only two Southeastern Conference guards have tallied at least 25 points, five rebounds, five assists, two blocks, two steals and a 65% field-goal percentage in a single women's basketball game.

On Friday, LSU star Flau'jae Johnson became the third.

The junior posted that gaudy stat line in LSU's win over Murray State, a come-from-behind victory that the No. 7 Tigers (4-0) sealed with help from Johnson. In the fourth quarter, she scored 10 of LSU's 21 points.

It was the third time this season that Johnson has led the Tigers in scoring. Ahead of LSU's Monday home game against Troy (7 p.m., SEC Network+), she's averaging 23.0 points per game and shooting 61% from the field, two signs that her sophomore-year postseason production is carrying over into her junior season.

"I just try to take the best shots," Johnson said Friday, "and if I don't have good shots, I just try to pass it, and that just helps get everybody involved.

"I really like when I have five assists. I feel like that's super cool."

It's early, but so far this season, only 13 Division I players have a higher scoring average than Johnson. The LSU junior is also one of only seven players who are scoring at least 20 points per game, grabbing at least seven rebounds per contest and shooting greater than 60% from the field. Of those seven, only two -- Johnson and UCLA's Lauren Betts -- have also assisted at least 10 buckets.

Over her past 11 games -- a stretch of play that began with LSU's first SEC tournament game last season -- Johnson has averaged 21.1 points per night and converted 57% of her field goal attempts. She's also nailed 19 of her 38 3-pointers (50%) and averaged 6.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

Those numbers dwarf not only her overall career averages of 13.5 points and 5.8 assists, but also her career shooting splits of 48% from the field and 36% from beyond the arc.

Johnson is also one of only three players from power-conference teams with multiple 25-point games this season. She notched the first in LSU's season opener, then posted the second in the Tigers' most recent game, the win over Murray State.

"She's playing with -- I don't even want to use the word confidence," coach Kim Mulkey said. "She's played with confidence. It just looks like she's floating out there. Everything's just effortless. Her shot's consistent."

At the start of the fourth quarter on Friday, LSU trailed Murray State 54-53.

By the end, the Tigers led 74-60.

In the time in between, Johnson sank all four of her field goals and tallied 10 points, three assists, three rebounds and a steal.

She maneuvered around Aneesah Morrow's screen and stepped into an open 18-foot jumper. Johnson also lined up a corner 3, drawing her defender into a late closeout, then stepped inside the arc and buried a second mid-range shot. Then she curled around a Sa'Myah Smith screen to the free throw line, where she hit a third jumper, before scooping up a loose ball and breaking free for an easy layup a few possessions later.

After that layup, LSU had built a quick 7-0 run that gave it a nine-point lead.

"She's in the greatest shape of her life," Mulkey said. "When everybody else is tired and shooting flat and no legs, Flau'jae is still elevating."
