Cate cross country shined at the TCAA Championship meet on Friday at Scott O'Leary Stadium.

The Rams' girls team placed first just ahead of Foothill Tech while the boys squad took home third place. Both teams clinched spots in the CIF-SS Prelims next Friday at Mt. SAC.

The top five Cate girls racers finished in the top 11 while the top seven all landed in the top 20.

Sophie Blank led the Rams with a third-place finish, and she was followed by Francesca Sutch (6th), Jen Won (7th), Kate McCoy (10th), Stella Rogers (11th), Daisy Gemberling (18th) and Tallulah Bates (20th).

The Cate boys team was paced by junior Jordan Ryan, who finished in seventh place individually.
