Skip Bayless found himself trending on social media Tuesday night, and let's just say the longtime media personality did nothing to deserve it.
One of Bayless' social media accounts has been hacked. With millions of people anxiously awaiting the results of the 2024 U.S. presidential election on Thursday night, strange posts began popping up on Skip's X account talking about cryptocurrency and the economy. The posts then got more and more vulgar. You can see a small sampling:
A lot of the posts were deleted, but several remained as of Wednesday morning.
Athletes and celebrities often use the "I was hacked" excuse when they say something on social media that they regret. In this instance, that is clearly what happened to Bayless.
The Skip hack may have been entertaining to some, but it didn't cause nearly the same frenzy that we saw when a prominent ESPN reporter was hacked earlier this year.
