Virginia residents reported seeing a bright object in the sky early Tuesday, September 10, amid the launch of SpaceX's Polaris Dawn mission, local outlets reported.

This video was captured by X user @ffbowns, who said it was filmed in Chantilly.

The rocket launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida early Tuesday, but officials could not confirm whether the sightings reported by Virginia residents were views of the rocket, ABC7 reported.
