This $26 Benefit Eyebrow Pencil Was Used on Lily Collins While Filming Season 4 of 'Emily in Paris'

Do you think Lily Collins' dad, Phil, saw this coming? Because, to paraphrase the singer, we've been waiting for this moment all our lives -- or at least since Emily in Paris first aired.

We finally figured out how her character Emily Cooper has such snatched brows: This $26 eyebrow pencil from Benefit Cosmetics is the product that helped her brows get camera-ready while filming season 4, per the brand.

Her brows have, for the most part, been on the thicker side -- aside from the time she thinned them out and looked "ridiculous" -- but it seems that even someone with brows as carved-out as the marble statues sitting in the Louvre could benefit from the foolproof product that shoppers of all ages are fans of.

The eyebrow pencil is designed with multiple purposes in mind: When you look at it from one direction, it looks flat and wide. This side is best for outlining the shape of your brows (or creating new ones altogether) or anywhere else where fine hair-like strokes aren't your top priority.

For those, the pointed tip can fill in any thin spots with a pencil-like precision. It's also good for defining the brows' tails, according to the brand, which is one spot that's easy to overpluck.

Still confused? Think of an actual pencil. When you're hand-writing something, you angle it downwards so the sharpest point has contact with the paper. But when you want to shade something in, you're going to turn it on its side. It's the same thought process when working on your brows.

The color of your brows is also equally as important as the shape, and there are 12 shades available. The pigment is waterproof, so if you step out in the rain or snow with bushy brows, you can count on them still being there once you've made it somewhere dry.

And unlike the Chicago-to-Paris transplant, it even works well for people who don't have a ton of hair: One shopper in their 60s said it "does a great job on my thinning eyebrows." They've also tried many pencils, but this one is the "only one" they use now.

"I have sparse brows from over tweezing in the '80s and '90s," said a second shopper. "This product really helps fill in those sparse areas and looks pretty natural (and lasts through the day)."
