Each week I'll list the best widely available free agents for fantasy football -- I define "widely available" as being owned in around half of all ESPN or Yahoo leagues -- and some guys who are probably better off in the free agent pool than collecting dust on your roster.

Here's my NFL Week 10 waiver wire cheat sheet for all league sizes and formats, with players you need to add, drop and stream in your fantasy football league:
ADD
-- QB Justin Herbert, Chargers (ESPN: 43%; Yahoo: 44%): This is a reminder that talent in fantasy is much like life in Jurassic Park, it finds a way. Herbert entered the Bolts' Week 5 bye with a season-high of 179 passing yards and 27 attempts with only one multi-touchdown game. He's averaging 303 passing yards the last three games with multiple TD passes the last two weeks, and hasn't thrown an interception since Week 2. Herbert is the overall QB8 since Week 6 and has upcoming games against three of top four teams allowing the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season (Bengals, Ravens and Buccaneers).
-- WR Jauan Jennings, 49ers (ESPN: 57%; Yahoo: 51%): There's a good chance Jennings returns this week, and with Brandon Aiyuk out for the season, he'll have WR3/flex upside most weeks, even with Christian McCaffrey possibly returning as well. Ricky Pearsall (ESPN: 18%; Yahoo: 28%) only has value if Jennings isn't ready.
-- RB Ray Davis, Bills (ESPN: 14%; Yahoo: 21%): Davis is the overall RB20 in standard formats (RB24 in PPR) since Week 6 with James Cook healthy and/or productive in three of those four games. Davis has RB1 upside if Cook gets hurt, but he's already developed flex appeal depending on the matchup.
-- WR DeMario Douglas, Patriots (ESPN: 27%; Yahoo: 22%): Douglas is the overall WR29 in PPR formats (WR42 in standard) since Week 5 with exactly nine targets in three of the last five games. Douglas should have flex appeal most weeks in PPR with Drake Maye looking like the real deal at QB for New England.
-- TE Mike Gesicki, Bengals (ESPN: 11%; Yahoo: 14%): Gesicki is the overall TE10 in standard formats (TE13 in PPR) through nine weeks with 12 receptions (14 targets) for 173 yards and two TDs the last two games. Tee Higgins missed both games with an oblique injury and could be out against the Ravens on Thursday night.
-- BONUS: WR Cedric Tillman, Browns (ESPN: 48%; Yahoo: 58%): Tillman has the most fantasy points in both standard and PPR formats since Amari Cooper was traded to Buffalo three weeks ago. The third-round draft pick in 2023 has had at least nine targets in each game, producing 21 receptions for 255 yards and three TDs since Week 7. Cleveland is on a bye this week, so this might be your last chance to snatch him up if he's available in your league. Also, Elijah Moore (ESPN: 8%; Yahoo: 14%) could develop flex appeal in deeper PPR leagues going forward. Moore has 17 receptions (on 27 targets) in three games without Cooper. Even Jerry Jeudy (ESPN: 52%; Yahoo: 48%) should be on more rosters, surpassing 70 yards in each game Jameis Winston has started with 12 receptions (19 targets) the last two weeks.
-- BONUS: QB Matthew Stafford, Rams (ESPN: 30%; Yahoo: 60%): Stafford is the overall QB6 the last two weeks with all of his receivers healthy. He's thrown for 577 yards with six TD passes against only two interceptions.
-- BONUS: TE Hunter Henry, Patriots (ESPN: 41%; Yahoo: 36%): Henry is the overall TE9 in standard formats (TE6 in PPR) through nine weeks with 23 receptions (28 targets) for 234 yards and a TD in the last four games.
-- BONUS: WR Quentin Johnston, Chargers (ESPN: 21%; Yahoo: 16%): Johnston finished as the overall WR5 in standard formats (WR7 in PPR) in his return from an ankle injury. He has four TD receptions in his last five games.
-- BONUS: RB Jaylen Warren, Steelers (ESPN: 55%; Yahoo: 42%): Warren should be close to 100 percent after Pittsburgh's bye, and the offense has looked more dynamic with Russell Wilson under center. Even banged up, he's been more efficient than Najee Harris and still offers more big-play potential going forward if the offense continues to develop with Wilson at the helm.
-- BONUS: QB Aaron Rodgers, Jets (ESPN: 52%; Yahoo: 43%): Rodgers is the overall QB10 since Nathaniel Hackett lost play-calling duties headed into Week 6. He's completing 64.2% of his passes for 1,014 yards with eight TD passes against three interceptions in the last four games.
-- BONUS: WR Adam Thielen, Panthers (ESPN: 26%; Yahoo: 25%): Thielen could be activated off injured reserve this week before the Giants game in Munich or even traded on Tuesday to a team like Texans. Either way, he should be relevant in fantasy the rest of this season.
-- BONUS: TE Taysom Hill, Saints (ESPN: 27%; Yahoo: 37%): If you don't have a "set it and forget it" tight end, and honestly, only a few of us in each league does, then why not lock Hill in every week (assuming he's healthy) and ride the wave. Only Gesicki topped him in standard formats last week (Hill finished as the overall TE3 in PPR), and New Orleans could be without Chris Olave (concussion) against the Falcons this week.
-- BONUS: QB Drake Maye, Patriots (ESPN: 11%; Yahoo: 11%): Maye is the overall QB9 since Week 6, and that includes a game two weeks ago when he was knocked out early with a concussion. New England is throwing the ball a ton with the rookie under center and he's shown some real upside with his legs, running for 197 yards on 19 carries and a TD in four starts.
-- BONUS: WR Xavier Legette, Panthers (ESPN: 33%; Yahoo: 27%): Legette is the overall WR28 in standard formats (WR26 in PPR) since Week 4, scoring a TD in four of the last six games. Legette will likely see consistent targets going forward with Diontae Johnson in Baltimore. He'll have WR3/flex upside going forward if Thielen gets traded.
-- BONUS: TE Jonnu Smith, Dolphins (ESPN: 13%; Yahoo: 9%): Smith is the overall TE11 across all fantasy formats since Week 5 with 21 receptions (27 targets) for 224 yards and a TD in the last four games.
-- BONUS: RB Isaac Guerendo, 49ers (ESPN: 8%; Yahoo: 18%): If McCaffrey returns this week and Jordan Mason has healed, Guerendo won't see many touches, but he's your guy if you're looking to stash some serious upside, especially if you roster CMC or Mason. The rookie is averaging 6.1 yards per carry with at least 99 total yards in two of the last three games.
-- BONUS: D/ST Lions (ESPN: 55%; Yahoo: 47%): Detroit has the seventh-highest scoring defense in fantasy through nine weeks, but it's first overall since Week 6. The Texans have allowed 14 sacks over their last three games, including eight last week against the Jets.
-- BONUS: D/ST Giants (ESPN: 5%; Yahoo: 6%): The G-Men lead the NFL with 35 sacks in nine games. The Panthers are averaging 12.5 points in Bryce Young's four starts, with Young throwing six interceptions. The Giants are a premium streaming option overseas if Andy Dalton remains out.
DROP
-- QB Dak Prescott, Cowboys: Prescott is expected to miss multiple weeks with a more serious hamstring injury than initially feared. Feel free to release him if you don't have the option of putting on injured reserve.
-- WR Dontayvion Wicks, Packers: Wicks is the overall WR64 in standard formats (WR71 in PPR) through nine weeks, and has two-or-fewer receptions in four of the last five games.
-- RB Devin Singletary, Giants: If you're in a deep league, and plan on using Singletary as a flex against the Panthers this week, I get it, but he only has 17 touches in the last three games and hasn't scored a TD since Week 3.
-- TE Isaiah Likely, Ravens: Likely is the overall TE23 in standard formats (TE27 in PPR) if you toss out his monster performance in Week 1 against the Chiefs, and he only had one target (no catches) against the Broncos while playing a season-low 30% of Baltimore's offensive snaps. The addition of Diontae Johnson doesn't bode well for Likely's target outlook going forward.
-- RB Antonio Gibson, Patriots: Gibson only has 11 touches in the last three games while competing with JaMycal Hasty for Rhamondre Stevenson's leftover scraps.
