A standoff between authorities and an armed man at the Sunstone Winery was reported early Saturday in Santa Ynez. The man had boarded himself inside the villa on the property Friday evening, according to reports from sources at the scene, and a wedding was organized at Sunstone for Saturday.

Sources at the scene told the Independent that the man who barricaded himself in the property is a member of the Rice family, which opened the winery on the estate more than 30 years ago.

Authorities have yet to confirm the incident, or the nature of the weapon, though witnesses at the scene said that the man posted a video to Instagram (which has since been deleted) titled "suicide -- Tyler's version," and scrawled the words "Call TS" on a wall at the property, in an apparent reference to pop star Taylor Swift. He reportedly locked himself in the villa after breaking in while the wedding party was at an off-site rehearsal.

There have been no reports of injuries, and law enforcement have not provided any official updates at this time.
