It's time to vote for the Gadsden area boys and girls athlete of the week.

Last week, Southside Jameel Boyd won 61% of the vote after his three touchdown night helped the Panthers football team win their first game of the year. On the girls side, Hokes Bluff's Mary Davenport had 23 assists to earn over 90% of the vote.

Nominees for athlete of the week come from the top performers the week before. To nominate a top performer, have a coach email [email protected]. Voting will last until Thursday at noon.
