Will starting Alabama left tackle Kadyn Proctor play against South Florida?

According to a report Saturday morning from ESPN's Pete Thamel as well, it appears that Proctor's status for Alabama's showdown with South Florida on Saturday night could also be in jeopardy, as he is reportedly doubtful to play.

A sophomore, Proctor started every game for the Crimson Tide at left tackle as a true freshman last season after coming to Alabama as the nation's No. 1 rated offensive tackle in the 2023 recruiting class.

Proctor, who transferred to Iowa during the offseason before transferring back to Alabama in the spring, was expected to start at the same position for the Crimson Tide in Week 1 prior to injury. In his place, redshirt sophomore Elijah Pritchett started at left tackle against Western Kentucky.

If he were to not play Saturday, Proctor's return to action could come next Saturday on the road at Wisconsin.
