Mizzou defeated Georgia 3-1 (25-18, 25-12, 26-28, 25-17) Wednesday night at the Hearnes Center, extending its win streak to eight games in the process.

The Tigers (17-5, 8-2 Southeastern Conference) came out strong defensively against the Bulldogs (9-12, 3-8) with four combined blocking assists in the first set alone.
