Marvel dropped a brand new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World during Disney's D23 event in Brazil, giving fans a sneak peek at Anthony Mackie's return as Sam Wilson. This film marks Mackie's first big-screen appearance as Captain America since he officially took up the mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney Plus.

Set to expand on the storyline from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Captain America: Brave New World explores Sam Wilson's evolution as the new Captain America. In the upcoming movie, Sam grapples with the responsibilities and challenges that come with the shield, as he takes on the Marvel villains Red Hulk and The Leader. Check out the trailer below!

Captain America: Brave New World is one of the last Marvel films leading up to the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. As one of the final stepping stones before the epic crossover events, Marvel fans are eager to see if the film will begin laying the groundwork for the return of the Avengers for the first time since 2019's Avengers: Endgame.

Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, taking on the mantle of Captain America. The cast also includes Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford.

The fourth Captain America movie is directed by Julius Onah, with a script crafted by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton. Orton joined the writing team in December 2023 to contribute new material for reshoots. The project, originally titled Captain America: New World Order, had its subtitle changed to Brave New World during production.
