Sep. 14 -- A 19-year-old woman was arrested Thursday after authorities said she gave them a video proving she stomped on the stomach of a pregnant romantic rival.
According to an Odessa Police Department report, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex on North Dixie Boulevard on Sept. 10 about a disturbance and when they arrived, a 34-year-old woman told them she'd just been attacked by her former boyfriend's girlfriend, Tyliyah Richardson.
The woman said Richardson showed up at her apartment, refused to leave and ultimately punched her in the face, the report stated. She further stated she is pregnant with her former boyfriend's baby and Richardson stomped on her stomach.
The woman was taken to the hospital and two days later Richardson arrived at the police department to explain her side of the story, the report stated. Richardson told officers the other woman punched her in the face after she went to her home to confront her about text messages she'd been exchanging with Richardson's boyfriend.
Richardson further said she had a video of the incident and provided it to the officer. According to the report, the video showed Richardson attacking the other woman, punching her multiple times, knocking her to the ground and moving her limbs away and stomping directly on her stomach multiple times.
Richardson was arrested and booked into the Ector County jail on suspicion of burglary of a habitation with the intention of committing another felony, a first-degree felony. A $50,000 surety bond was set.
