INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash on the northwest side of Indianapolis Friday night.

According to IMPD, officers responded to a report of a crash on North Michigan Road at West Northgate Street around 11:30 p.m. They arrived to find that a sedan and pickup truck had collided.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the pickup were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

No other information about the crash was immediately available, though IMPD said a blood draw will be given to the driver of the pickup truck, per department procedure in a crash involving a fatality or serious injury.
