Hopkins Goes All-In With Hall of Fame Comp After Big Game With Mahomes

Hopkins hauled in 8 catches for 86 yards and 2 TDs on "Monday Night Football" in his home debut in Kansas City. After the team's thrilling win in overtime, Hopkins took to social media where he made quite the comparison -- putting himself and quarterback Patrick Mahomes up against a legendary duo comprised of one Hall of Famer and another player who is certain to be once he becomes eligible.

Hopkins made a social media post that included nothing more than a picture of former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Randy Moss embracing on the field during one of their games together.

He captioned the photo with nothing but an ellipses.

The comparison is essentially saying, absent any words, that Hopkins believes he and Mahomes can rival the best single-season QB-WR connection league history.

Brady and Moss led the Patriots to an undefeated campaign in 2007 that carried on all the way until the team fell in the Super Bowl to the New York Giants. Brady threw for 50 touchdowns during that year, while Moss led the NFL with 23 TD receptions.

Hopkins has been with the Chiefs for just two games, though the team is now 8-0. Kansas City isn't blowing anyone away, as six of those victories have come by one score.

However, the team is clicking on both sides of the football and could end up undefeated for several more weeks to come if things continue on as they have to this point in the season.
