UBS Lands $650M FA Team of Morgan Stanley Lifers

UBS says it has added a five-person advisory team from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where they oversaw about $650 million in client assets.

Wingman Capitol Group has joined UBS in Bethesda, Maryland, the wirehouse announced Friday. The team, led by financial advisors Andy Murphy, Gene Suk and Terence Hardy, offers financial and retirement planning, cash management and lending products, equity-compensation guidance, and advice on 401(k) rollovers, trust accounts, 529 plans, annuities and life insurance, according to its Morgan Stanley webpage.

Murphy, Suk and Hardy bring 19, 28 and nine years of experience, respectively, all at Morgan Stanley, their BrokerCheck records show. Also joining from Morgan Stanley are Wealth Management Associate and Financial Planning Specialist Casey Coffman and Client Service Associate Ryan Vogel. The team will report to UBS' Philadelphia D.C. market director, Jake Shine.

"The Wingman Capitol Group has a phenomenal reputation in the local community. We are excited that they are joining the firm, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth in the years ahead," Shine said in the announcement.

UBS has added at least two other advisor teams from Morgan Stanley in recent months, including a three-advisor team with a combined 70 years of experience in July and a Colorado-based team with $470 million in client assets the prior month.
