Week 2 NFL Picks: How will Packers fare with Malik Willis (likely) in for Jordan Love?

Believe Matt LaFleur if you wish, but all signs continue to point to Jordan Love sitting out on Sunday when the Green Bay Packers host the Indianapolis Colts. LaFleur has continued trying to make the case that Love could play on Sunday, but comments from Love's teammates and general common sense indicate that he will not be in uniform this weekend.

Although the Packers were favored in this week two matchup before Love was injured last Friday night, that has shifted significantly. Now, with Malik Willis expected to get the start, Green Bay sits as 3-point underdogs at home to the Colts -- a drop of about a touchdown from where the line sat previously -- and the over-under total has dropped to an impressively low 40.5.

So where do we at Acme Packing Company see this game going? Perhaps appropriately, our opinions are mixed. A few of us are buying into the idea that Matt LaFleur can devise a functional offense around Willis' abilities, putting the run game to good use against a team that allowed more than 200 yards on the ground a week ago. A few aren't buying it, instead likely seeing Anthony Richardson making some big plays against Jeff Hafley's defense to give the Colts a W.

The latter would be a disappointing result for the Packers, who would benefit from banking some wins early in the season before the team faces a tough stretch in late November and early December. Still, a loss to an AFC team early in the season would hardly be a season-ending defeat, with plenty of time left to overcome it in the standings over the final 16 weeks of the season.

Here are our picks for the Packers-Colts game and all of the other games across the NFL this week.
