QUINCY (WGEM) - The boil order for all Quincy municipal water supply customers that was issued of Friday, Sept. 13 has been lifted, according to Public Works Director Jeffrey Conte.
Quincy city officials reported on Saturday morning that the water treatment plan was operating smoothly and elevated water storage tanks are filled to normal levels.
They said they were collecting and testing water samples all of Saturday.
City officials said the Quincy Fire Department flushed fire hydrants on the east side of Quincy before the boil order was lifted.
