Bryce Young will get the start again for the Carolina Panthers as they take on the New York Giants in a Germany matinee on Nov. 10. After getting an upset win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 9, the team is riding high, despite their 2-7 record.
Star cornerback Jaycee Horn thinks the Panthers trajectory is trending upward, not downward, headed into their Week 10 matchup. He warned fans against being late on the Carolina bandwagon in an interview with reporters on Nov. 8.
"We've been down bad for a little while," Horn said after a Panthers practice in Munich, Germany. "But our time coming. So you might as well jump on the ship while you can, because once we start winning we ain't taking a lot of new fans."
Carolina seems reinvigorated by their win over the Saints, and motivated to follow Young, who started in the victory. The former first overall pick had been benched in favor of Andy Dalton after an 0-2 start this season. But the veteran injured his throwing thumb in a car accident and Young returned under center in Week 8.
After leading a game-winning drive against New Orleans in Week 9, it seems he'll be the starting quarterback until losses start stacking up again. Against the Giants, Horn will have an opportunity to make a statement himself. He'll likely be matched up with rookie phenom, wide receiver Malik Nabers.
Kick-off for the overseas matchup is scheduled for 9:30 am EST.
