UA upgrades their annual homecoming pep rally - WVUA 23

The University of Alabama has been hosting homecoming festivities all week long in preparation for their homecoming game against Missouri on Saturday, October 26th.

This year's pep rally included speeches from President Bell, Coach DeBoer, Coach Nate Oats, and many more.

The pep rally was followed by the annual bonfire and this year's new addition, a drone light show.

The drones created a variety of shapes in the sky such as an Alabama football helmet, Coach Bryant's iconic hat, and Big Al.

Students, alumni, and Tuscaloosa families all came together to enjoy the event and celebrate The University of Alabama.

Alabama fan Niki Olek said "I look forward to the bonfire every year and the parade, excited about the drone show tonight too, the light show my kids are excited about that too. And the pep rally is always great. I'm a former cheerleader so I get excited to bring my little girl out here to see the cheerleaders too."

This year's homecoming queen was also announced during the pep rally and congratulations are in order to Hannah Adams, 2024 Homecoming Queen, and the rest of the homecoming court.
