The City of Lufkin recently revealed that the T.L.L. Temple Foundation has generously awarded a $67,000 grant to support the Lufkin Fire Department. This funding will be used to purchase four Stryker Lucas 3.1 device units, advanced life-saving equipment designed to provide consistent, high-quality chest compressions during cardiac emergencies.
"These devices are a game-changer for our department," said Fire Chief Jesse Moody. "They not only improve patient outcomes but also allow our first responders to focus on providing comprehensive care during critical situations. We deeply appreciate the T.L.L. Temple Foundation's commitment to the safety and well-being of our community."
The Stryker Lucas units are a critical addition to the Lufkin Fire Department's emergency response capabilities, enhancing the life-saving efforts of firefighters and paramedics. This award underscores the vital role of private philanthropy in meeting community needs and ensuring public safety.
The City of Lufkin extends its gratitude to the T.L.L. Temple Foundation for their continued investment in our residents and their trust in our mission to serve and protect.
