Pensacola 23, Booker T. Washington 0: It's been nearly a decade, but the Tigers recorded their first shutout win since 2015, defeating the Wildcats on the road.
The Tigers scored a touchdown in the first, second and fourth quarters, along with a field goal in the fourth frame, to secure the win over Booker T. Jamarcuz Fountain opened the scoring with an 11-yard rushing touchdown, follow by a 45-yard pick-6 from Thaddarius Witherspoon in the second quarter.
AG Floyd ran in for the two-point conversion to make it 14-0 before halftime. JJ Solet kicked a 32-yard field goal in the fourth frame before Floyd scored a touchdown of his own on a 6-yard run to round out the scoring.
Fountain finished the game with 101 yards passing on seven completions. Dominique Hughley had three receptions for 52 yards, while Josh Quiles (2 receptions, 26 yards) and Cameron Hamilton (2 receptions, 23 yards) hauled in the rest of the receptions.
Floydran for 130 yards on 15 carries, with Fountain tacking on 48 yards. Defensive stats were not reported yet.
For Booker T., Trae Townsend went 7-for-26 for just 68 yards, while Kyler Battle led the Wildcats on the ground with 69 yards. Gionni Lewis had a reception for 36 yards, rounded out by Tanner Rogers (2 receptions, 18 yards), Kam Taylor (1 reception, 2 yards) and Daniel Leverette (3 receptions, 12 yards).
Kolby Saladino led the team with 12 tackles on defense, while Samuel Johnson added a sack for a loss of 10 yards.
Booker T. (3-4) goes to Pine Forest next Friday for a key district matchup, while Pensacola (3-3) hosts Escambia next Friday for the rivalry matchup.
Pensacola Catholic 48, Mobile Christian (Ala.) 20: The Crusaders weren't going to Alabama for a second time this season without a win.
Pensacola Catholic went up early after a rushing touchdown just a couple minutes in, only for Mobile Christian to return the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown. However, the extra point kick missed, leaving Pensacola Catholic on top.
A passing touchdown at the end of the first quarter, followed by another rushing touchdown before halftime gave the Crusaders some breathing room. Scores from the second half weren't reported, but Pensacola Catholic found the end zone four more times to close out the game.

Pensacola Catholic (5-1) returns to district play next week with a home game on Friday against Walton.
Pine Forest 13, Crestview 7 (OT): For the second time this season, the Eagles pulled out an overtime victory over an Okaloosa County school.
Crestview struck first in the second quarter on a 27-yard pass from Zy Tassin to Braylon Phillips, followed by the extra point. Pine Forest responded near the beginning of the fourth quarter after Zakavius Andrews scoring on a 2-yard run and converted the extra point.
With Crestview threatening to score, the Bulldogs fumbled deep in Pine Forest territory, and the rest of the clock drained, forcing overtime. It was Char'son Floyd who hauled in the game-winning touchdown pass from Andrews to win the game.

Baker 20, Northview 6: The Chiefs scored late in the game to erase the shutout, but it wasn't enough as the Gators came away with a win in a battle between two rural programs.
Baker opened the scoring with a 7-yard rushing touchdown from Kase Armstrong late in the first quarter, followed by a two-point conversion pass from Armstrong to Daltyne Cato. It took until the fourth quarter for Baker to expand on its lead, with Calvin Wilks III scoring a 5-yard rushing touchdown, but the ensuing two-point conversion failed.
Northview got on the scoreboard with a 57-yard rushing touchdown from Dane King with around two minutes to go in the game, but the Chiefs missed the extra point and there just wasn't enough time left.
