With Vessel of Hatred on the horizon, many eager Diablo 4 players are definitely going to want to get in right for the release time of the DLC. However, when will that exactly be? What can we expect for the launch?
You can expect to start playing Vessel of Hatred on October 7 at 4 PM PST / 7 PM EST. Expect some downtime hours before as the game will be taken offline to launch the new expansion.
If you're currently enjoying Season 5, make sure to complete everything you want to between now and October 7. At least complete the Battle Pass and the Season Journey to get the base experience and not miss out on anything season-related.
Season 5 of Diablo 4 will end on October 7 as well, the same day as the launch of Vessel of Hatred. It should end around the time the game will undergo maintenance to launch the new patch.
Season 6 of Diablo 4 should start right when Vessel of Hatred launches. Since Season 5 was cut a bit short just in time for the expansion, the release dates coincide. Expect a new Battle Pass, Season Journey, challenges, and way more.
There is still time left to pre-order the upcoming expansion to get any bonuses that come with it which include the Snow Leopoard pet and the Diablo Immortal item.
Along with the new premium additions, players who have the base game can also look forward to the new leveling and Paragon system, new skills and abilities for existing classes, and more quality-of-life (QoL) changes.
Even if you did not purchase or are not looking to purchase Vessel of Hatred, there is still much to look forward to.
