I took a week off work to come to Paris and work on becoming a better writer. In truth, I wanted to write a book based on some of the conversations we are having here, together.

I started writing this blog because I felt that it's rare you read about someone who had a great job, a great life (with the ups and downs live reserves us) and is a kind, quirky, intelligent human being genuinely looking for love but cannot find it. And there are so many of us!

I felt it would be great to have a partner in crime, a best friend in your pocket, a fellow traveller who also figures out important life lessons and despite all she learns half of the time repeats the same mistake over again. Let's face it, it's real. It's most of us.

We get it. We're supposed to practice self care and self love, to have a career, to be kind, to build a life we are proud of and stay mentally stable even in the midst of this treasure hunt for love.

We are supposed to have 'figured things out', we're adults, but have we? Has anyone?

So I thought we'd walk this journey together, on this blog.

I don't know if this blog is coming to an end or if I will keep writing (I promise I'll let you know what went down after the last blog post because it was the opposite of everything we thought could happen) but I know I wanted to take this body of work and somehow make it truly ours.
