It was a banner day for New Jersey high school wrestling on Sunday.

Behind two champions and 23 total medalists, the Garden State was well represented at the 32nd-annual Beast of the East Tournament at the University of Delaware's Bob Carpenter Center.

Senior Anthony Knox of St. John Vianney, a three-time NJSIAA champion, repeated as champion and Caedyn Ricciardi of St. Peter's Prep-Jersey City won his first title at the final big event of the year.

Paced by two champions and 11 total medalists, Faith Christian Academy (Pennsylvania) finished with a team-high 276.5 points, ahead of runners-up Lakeland Highlands Preparatory (255.5) and Malvern Prep (236.5).

St. Joseph (Montvale) finished sixth in the team standings with 144 points, the best result of all New Jersey teams that participated for the second straight year. The Green Knights were paced by six medalists.

Twenty six time champions and last year's winner Blair Academy finished fourth with 165.5 points.
