The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating a three-vehicle crash that left one person dead.The crash happened in the area of Highway 275 and Luther Road just northeast of Fremont.The preliminary investigation found a red GMC pickup was southbound on Luther Road and when the driver went to go across the highway, the pickup was hit by an eastbound Ford Mustang.The pickup was sent into a ditch south of the highway, and the Mustang spun out, hitting a stopped white GMC Yukon that was on Luther Road.The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital where he died. The driver's identity is being withheld until their next of kin can be notified. The driver of the pickup was not wearing a seat belt and deputies said, "the vehicle was not equipped with airbags."The driver of the Mustang was wearing a seat belt, and his airbags did deploy.Deputies said neither speed nor alcohol are considered factors in this crash.The crash is still under investigation.Click here for the latest headlines from KETV NewsWatch 7
