MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) -- Mobile police officers arrested a man Sunday after he allegedly threatened a woman and ran from the area.
According to an MPD news release, officers were in the area of Airport Boulevard and I-65 NB around 9 a.m. on Dec. 22 when they saw a woman flagging them down.
Officers said they spoke with the woman and, while doing so, witnessed a man get out of a nearby car and run from the area.
The release said officers discovered that the man had threatened the woman during a "domestic incident."
Officers apprehended the man, now identified as 35-year-old Jeremiah Rashaun Tolbert, and arrested him.
Tolbert is charged with second-degree receiving stolen property, interference with a domestic violence emergency call, attempt to elude, possession of a controlled substance, failure to obey and third-degree domestic violence (menacing).
